We knew since early summer that Asus would be one of the companies that would launch tablets with Windows 8. Now, we have its official presentation: Live Tab y Live Tab RT They have made their appearance at the IFA in Berlin.

It looks like one of the stars of this year's IFA Berlin is going to be Microsoft: Despite the fact that it does not present any product directly (its Surface tablet, for example), the appearance of devices with the new version of its software promises to be a constant. In this case the turn is for Asus. Their new tablets with Windows 8 as the operating system are, in any case, no surprise, since they had known each other from the beginning. Computex.
The tablet we knew as Tablet 600, has been called Live Tab RTobviously for using this tablet version of Microsoft software. It will be a tablet hybrid with connector, like those of the Asus Transformer line that carry Android systems. The device will have a 10.1 '', with a definition of 1366 x 768, and powerful, with a quad-core processor NVIDIA Tegra 3 and 2GB of RAM memory.
For its part, the tablet then presented as Tablet 810, has received the name of Live Tab and it will operate with Windows 8. It is also a hybrid tablet with a keyboard connector, a somewhat larger size than the previous one, with an 11.6 '' screen, and also a little heavier (675 vs 520 grams) although quite thin despite that (8.7mm). In this case it will work with a processor Intel Atom, and will also have 2GB of RAM.
For the many fans of Asus's Transformer line of tablets wanting to get a taste of Microsoft's operating system, this double presentation is sure to be great news. However, we cannot add the final complement, as Asus still does not provide release date or prices for neither of the two models. We will have to wait a little longer.
