All fans of the series already know that this weekend we're finally going to get new news from Westeros, and now that it's closer than ever, the wait is surely getting harder. But don't worry, because we have a few ideas to help you pass the time and get warmed up, with these Game of Thrones apps.
Review the history of Game of Thrones
Starting with the basics, if you're still not entirely clear after more than a year on how things turned out in the Seven Kingdoms, or even later on, when you start watching the series and suddenly have doubts and notice that you're missing some important information, the Game of Thrones wiki is a great option to use as a guide , but we also have specific apps that we can download directly, both for iOS and Android.
Travel the universe of Game of Thrones
Although the guide includes a map , there's an app specifically designed to recreate the world of Game of Thrones in as much detail as possible , helping us piece together all the battles and the characters' comings and goings. It even has a feature that lets us see where the scenes in each episode take place.
Also visit the real scenes of Game of Thrones
Not only can we explore the virtual world of the seven kingdoms, but we can also travel to the real Winterfell or King's Landing: Google has launched this week a guide for Game of Thrones on Google Street View that takes us directly to the locations where the most iconic scenes of the series were filmed.
Learn High Valyrian
When an invented language is introduced into a fantasy world, there always comes a time when hardcore fans decide to learn it, or at least a few words, and now it will also be possible to learn High Valyrian (unfortunately, not yet Dothraki) with the help of Duolingo , through a beta, as announced by its developers.
Ambient our devices with wallpapers
Of course, it is essential to create an environment to put a matching wallpaper on our smartphone or tablet and there are also apps that leave us a wide selection from which to choose, all of them with good qualities to take advantage of the good resolution of our devices.
Play the Game of Thrones ourselves
We cannot leave out of the list of featured Game of Thrones apps the excellent TellTale game, of course, and, although living the experience from start to finish will require us to make a small investment, we can at least try a little the water before playing the first chapter for free. Guaranteed to help you wait better.
And of course, watch the series
When we reviewed the best apps to watch series and movies, we already said that, although of course there are other things to take into account, its own content is its main claim and this is undoubtedly the case with HBO, although, for Of course, we will also be able to enjoy it with the apps of the different operators that offer it.
