Lenovo yesterday officially presented four devices that will carry an operating system Windows 8, some of them of its variant Windows RT. Two of them were from the IdeaPad Yoga range and the two that we will talk about today in greater detail are Idea Tab Lynx y ThinkPad Twist. We are facing a Windows 8 tablet and an ultrabook that becomes a tablet. In that presentation they gave us a launch date and price for all of them.

Yesterday we talked to you about the features, dates and price of the two IdeaPad Yoga devices. Both are convertible laptops-tablets, although the 13-inch model uses Windows 8, therefore an Intel processor, and the 11-inch model uses Windows RT, therefore an ARM processor, which in this case is an NVIDIA Tegra 3.

Lenovo Idea Tab Lynx It is a Windows 8 tablet with a processor dual core Intel Clover Trail. It will offer us a pure tablet experience, although we can transform it into something similar to a laptop by adding a keyboard dock that leads her to 16 battery hours. The device without additional keyboard weighs about 640 grams. We can see it in stores from December for a starting price of $599. The keyboard will be sold separately and will cost $ 149. All of this will be on sale on October 26.
Lenovo ThinkPad Twist is a ultrabook convertible into tablet to all views. The oddity is that his screen not only can it be folded but it also rotates on a vertical axis. In this way, we can turn the screen and cover the keyboard to be able to hold the device as it has traditionally been done with tablets. The IdeaPad Yoga offer the tactile experience if we put them as a laptop or as a tent, in this sense the experience improves. ThinkPad Twist has a display of 12,5 inches with panel IPS. There will be different hardware options for different prices and we can choose high-end models that run Windows 8 Pro with processors Intel Core i7, plus several storage options. It will weigh 1,5 kg, more or less what an ultrabook. It will reach the stores andOctober 26 with a starting price of $849.
In the statement Lenovo took the opportunity to also confirm the ThinkPad 2 price. This one will start in $649. This is a tablet with a 10,1-inch screen with a low-power Intel Atom processor. It will give between 8 and 10 hours of battery life, which we can increase with a connectable keyboard dock that will be sold separately. It will also hit stores on October 26.
