A new version of iOS 6 is coming

iOS Update

When it was only a month since the launch of the latest version of Apple's mobile device operating system, iOS 6, the latest news indicates that the company would already be testing a new update which will become available to users within a few weeks.

iOS Update

For sure Apple has prepared large new arrivals as to devices, and we hope that in the event's audience Taking place today, iPad Mini may not be the only device to be featured. However, the hardware does not seem to occupy their attention completely and, according to the latest leaks, those in Cupertino seem to be working on news regarding their software as well. In addition to a new version of iBooks, which is expected to have great relevance in the official presentation of the iPad Mini (given the prominence that would be given to this new tablet as a device focused on the consumption of content and media), they would also be working on an update for the last version of iOS officially released last September.

This new update, in any case, will not bring us great news and will focus, fundamentally, on the resolution of bugs, although it will also include some small improvements like those dedicated to connection Wi-Fi. Among the bugs that will be corrected, however, there are some that can be quite important, as is the case of the error that allowed the data of passbook could be seen from the unlock screen.

Proof that the changes that the new version of iOS will bring us will not be of great significance is the very name that this next installment of the operating system will have, iOS 6.0.1 (similar in this to the update that we saw recently in Android, its version 4.1.2). As reported MacRumors, the update would be at this time in Test phase, so its launch, logically, cannot be simultaneous to the devices that will be presented today, but it will be available to users in the near future.
