The owners of Samsung's first phablet the Galaxy Note GT-N700 may be very happy given that a version of Jelly Bean 4.1.2 It has been leaked through the guys at SamMobile. The news must be taken with caution since the firmware is in a version. This means that it still has a couple of bugs and that you will not be able to download it through KIES.

From SamMobile they tell us that N7000XXLSA is the first version of the Android 4.1.2 operating system for this device and is in a step prior to the official launch, which is expected to arrive in December or January 2013. A few days ago we also saw a version on XDA-Developers, but that cannot be compared to this since it has been downloaded directly from Samsung's servers by an infiltrator.
The firmware has been tested and should work perfectly, except for a small bug. These are some of the improvements that we will see among others:
- Better performance
- Multi-window for multi-tasking, which can be disabled
- Possibility to customize the notification panel
- New notification bar
- Integration with Google Now
- Two modes for the home screen
- Integration with Samsung Cloud services
- Direct Call, Smart Stay and Pop-up Play Features
To install it, we have to have Odin 3.04 on our computer - you can get it here- and follow these steps:
- Download this file here and unzip it
- Open Odin 3.04
- Restart the phone in download mode (Home button + Power + Volume down)
- Connect the phablet to the computer and wait until Odin gives you the yellow signal
- Add CODE_N7000XXLSA_549786_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5 to PDA
- Add MODEM_N7000XXLSA_REV_05_CL1222228.tar.md5 to PHONE
- Add CSC_OXA_N7000OXALSA_549786_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5 to CSC
- Check that re-partition is not activated
- Start the flash and wait a few minutes
Tell us how it went.
