In many cases, the management and productivity applications that appear in the application catalogs, serve to complement native functions in tablets and smartphones that for some users, may fall short. As a result of all this, a multitude of tools emerge in a context in which diversification, not only of terminals, but of tools for your day-to-day life, is the protagonist.
Just as we've introduced you to photography apps, music editing apps, and even those that, at first glance, allow you to acquire knowledge through device screens, among many others, we've also talked about productivity apps. Today it's Any.DO 's turn . We'll tell you more about it, as it aims to become a calendar that thousands of people can use to schedule all kinds of tasks.
Operation
Any.DO is an app that sets reminders and alarms for everyday activities that users schedule through it. In addition to tasks that users can add themselves, it includes a list of common tasks that users can drag and drop onto a daily, weekly, or monthly calendar, where notifications will appear as they approach.
Interface
The most striking feature of this platform is how it schedules tasks: On the one hand, you can navigate them through a window system , as we mentioned earlier; on the other, you can dictate them using the microphones on the devices themselves. Deleting tasks once they're completed is also simple: just shake the device. Synchronization is one of the key strengths of all these types of tools, and in the case of Any.DO, it can be done across different devices and with other users to coordinate group work.
Free?
This app has no initial cost . Launched several years ago, it has undergone numerous updates, propelling it to nearly 50 million downloads . Despite its generally positive reception, it has also faced criticism for its in-app purchases, which can reach €40 per item, and for requiring personal data that could potentially compromise user privacy .
Do you think Any.DO has reached peak popularity and will need to address some of its less popular aspects to maintain interest? More information about other apps in this genre, such as TickTick, is available to explore other options.
