ASUS PadFone 2 It is a unique product that we have told you about on several occasions. After receiving certain rumors and leaks of its next launch, we have finally been able to see the real product in an interview that Jerry Shen, CEO of Asus, has given to Bloomberg TV India. Among various devices that rely on touch screens, Shen gives us a tour of this spectacular device. That whole interview was collected in a video that os ofrecemos.

Like its predecessor, it follows a fundamental idea: a smartphone that turns into a tablet. The goal is to have only one data rate for phone and tablet and, at the same time, have all your accessible applications and content from two different formats without using synchronizations with cloud storages.
In the interview that we talked about, we could see laptops with a touch screen such as ASUS UX51 and ASUS U38. We also got to see the rare convertible laptop asus taichi that has two screens that turn their backs, offering a new possibility to control the laptop while displaying images and information on the other screen. These three devices have Windows 8 as the operating system.
But what we think is most remarkable about that interview with Bloomberg is the unofficial presentation of PadFone 2. Jerry Shen confirm some of the specifications that we could extract from the box that leaked a few days ago from a Chinese forum. In effect we will find the 4,7 inch screen with resolution HD, 13 MPX camera and the battery that lasts a whole day. The mobile looks very similar to its predecessor, the only thing being a little bigger. The quality of the photos from the impressive camera cannot be appreciated from the video, but both the interviewer and Shen highlight it. However, it is difficult to think of bad photos with 13 MPX.
It had been speculated that PadFone 2 would come with Jelly Bean as an operating system, but from the images it seems that we are facing a Android 4.0 Ice Cream SandwichWe do not know if that will continue until its presentation, but an update would be more than interesting.
As for the battery, they say that it lasts a whole day with a single charge, but that if we introduce PadFone 2 in the tablet dock will proceed to load. The way the tablet and phone are put together is different from the first PadFone. In that device, we had to lift a lid and place the phone there to connect it. Now is a vertical slot where the Smartphone is inserted and proceeds to symbiosis with the tablet. In addition, the tablet is now considerably lighter than the first model.
In the video they assure us that PadFone 2 will be presented on October 16, within 3 days, as is had announced the 10th.
A few hours after the video the Twitter account @ Evleaks has published some photos of the product in which we can see this jewel in more detail.
