Asus Taichi 31 officially launched, increases the size of the previous one

Asus Tai Chi 31

Today the second version of a very strange tablet has been launched, the Asus Tai Chi 31. It is a slightly larger model than the first 11,6-inch model. As on the other occasion, we talked about a convertible tablet with the genius of counting with two screens. It is a team Windows 8 specially designed for professional environments due to its capacity for presentations.

Like the Taichi 21, it is actually a high-end convertible tablet ultrabook. In this version you have two screens of 13,3 inches. Both are Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels with IPS panel. Inside it has processors Intel Core i5-337U or i7-3517U depending on the model we choose that, accompanied by 4 GB of RAMwill run Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro operating systems. The graphics processor is the Intel HD Graphics 4000.

Regarding internal memory, you can choose between 128 GB or 256 GB expandable with SD card or by USB OTG by means of an external memory. To connect to the internet and other devices you will have WiFi, Bluetooth and the aforementioned USB 3.0.

It has a 5 MPX rear camera with 1080p video capacity and a front with 720p HD capacity.

Regarding its mode of use, the approach is the same as in the smaller model. We have a small ultrabook that when we open it gives us a touch screen in front of us. Where the cover usually is, another screen appears. When it is closed on the keyboard, this allows us to use a Windows 8 Touch tablet. If we open it, we can make use of both screens in two ways: when they reflect the same thing, being able to guide the people in front of us through our presentations, or independently, with two differentiated users who can do very different operations at the same time.

The price has not been officially revealed but, if the previous model is between 1.100 and 1.500 euros, we should expect higher prices, probably starting at 1.300 euros. Curiously, in Amazon.com we see her in her most gifted model for 1.700 euros.
