Stars and money can also be purchased from the pay mode of the application. The stars are used to unlock the cars that you can later buy with the money. That is, whether or not you can buy new cars depends on your expertise, but once you spend the stars you have to start over.
When you finish a race, Asphalt 7 always asks you if you want share your results with your friends through social networks promising an extra reward if you do. It is something that may be fine on time, but one can honestly end up sick of it if you don't like spamming your wall.
Graphics are very good although they do not seek total realism. This does not mean that they are not detailed or dynamic, although they do incorporate aspects such as speed trails and distortion that give it a more arcade finish and in my opinion fun.
