When we learned that Rovio was going to release a sequel to Angry Birds in which he was going to turn the tables by offering the player this time to control the evil pigs, there were many who raised their eyebrows skeptically, me among them. Rovio today released Bad Piggies for Android and iOSWe want to tell you if it is really worth giving the vote of confidence to those who have made us play like crazy for three years.

Rovio perhaps had exploited the goose that laid the golden eggs too much with countless sequels, updates and Angry Birds special editions. Even so, its incredible success seemed reason enough for them to plan to go public soon, the company having a value of between 6.000 and 9.000 million dollars, almost the same as the also Finnish Nokia. It was clear, and the experience of Facebook on the stock market proves it, that they needed more compelling reasons for this operation and Bad Piggies may be a probe balloon.
Honestly, few gave a penny for Bad Piggies. Players were already a bit fed up with throwing birds with slingshots and it didn't look like Bad Piggies was going to be much different. And although it is not a total revolution, they have put some ingredients in the shaker that give a very satisfactory result at first. Graphically and visually it is the same as Angry BirdsWhat has changed substantially is the dynamics of the game. Remains a physical puzzle but now we can make many prior choices.

The game is about build a vehicle pigs to reach specific destinations or goals. From the initial wooden stroller we can add 33 Objects, what we are getting as we advance in the game, to improve its performance. With this we make it roll better, be better protected, fly, float, we give it propulsion and many other capabilities. Then we launch the vehicle that, after interacting with the terrain, must reach the goal.
We can repeat the levels with another preparation or tuning different from the car to get the three stars and the best score.
Curiously for Android it's free both its normal version and in HD, although it has ads. On iOS and its App Store is paid and ok 0,79 Euros the normal version and 2,39 Euros the HD, but no ads. In both cases we have the option of acquiring tips and improvements with in-app purchases.
