The iPad is not the first mobile device that comes to mind when we think of taking photos, although there are people who do use it. For what we do find it useful and suitable is for editing photos or retouching and for sharing them on social networks. We want to suggest the ones we consider best photo apps for iPad, so that you can use it as a camera and as an editor.
It's been a long time since we realized that Instagram it is to simply put filters and share photos but there are many more apps beyond.
Snapseed

It is probably the most complete. It allows you to do everything, put filters, retouch, cut photos, import them from different sources and share them on social networks by assigning them a geolocation. It uses the technology of the Nik Software company that has spent many years dedicating research to photo editing. Its tools are simple, precise and effective. It won the 2011 Apple award for the best application of the year. We will we dedicate an article recently where you can see it in more detail.
You can find Snapseed on iTunes for 3,99 euros.
There are other applications that do something similar to Snapseed but that do not reach its precision or that far exceed it in price.
iPhoto.
Part of the first group, it is Apple's own application for editing, organizing and sharing. As for editing, it is not up to Snapseed, however in the organization and sharing options it is superior and has the smoothness and excellent smoothness in the user interface of Apple's own applications. Interestingly, it has the same price as Snapseed.
You can find iPhoto in iTunes for 3,99 euros.
Adobe Photoshop Touch

In the group of faces we have Adobe Photoshop Touch. This app is very powerful, as much or more than Snapseed. It gives us familiarity with its tools, but don't expect to find all the ones you can use in the PC version. Its price also pulls back a bit, it is really expensive. The good part is its free cloud storage.
You can find Adobe Photshop Touch on iTunes for 7,99 euros.
If we do not want to spend money or almost nothing we can go to the free and previous version of Photoshop, there are options.
Adobe Photoshop Express
It is really limited but we can do the odd retouching and it gets much more out of it if we expand it with the Camera Pack. The other effects and filter extensions are not worth it.
You can find Adobe Photoshop Express in iTunes for free.
Camera +
It is like a slightly reduced version of Snapseed but cheaper. It is also an Apple application integrated with other services and with an excellent user experience. We will tell you more about its details in this article.
You can find Camera + for 0,79 euros on iTunes.
There are other options for making specific edits. For example those photos that have a black and white part and a color part. These are the two applications with which you can do it.

color splash by 1,59 Euros
Color Blast Lite completely free.
Finally, to take photos with a Vintage look from the 20s, we recommend StrutType, an application that allows you to select different filters, textures, types of paper, light strokes, vignettes and frames that will make your photos appear to be 100 years old.

You can find Strut Type for 1,59 euros on iTunes.
