Blackforest, the new Blackberry tablet

Through an image filtered by the web BlackBerryOS.com we have been able to know the rim plans for the remainder of 2012 and 2013. These include the launch of two new smartphones and one tablets, which would hit the market in the second half of 2013. Before, Blackberry would launch two new smartphones.

Although Blackberry it does not go through its best moments, with these launches they will try to change this trend. RIM has seen both its revenue and its share price plummet throughout 2012. The latest episode came last week, when RIM announced that the launch of its new operating system, BlackBerry 10, was being delayed. Following the statement, its shares fell 20%.

As we can see in the image, RIM plans to launch two new smartphones in the first half of 2013 and a new tablet model in the second half of 2013. According to the British newspaper The Telegraph, the device, which as the image shows could be called blackforest, would have technology 4G and it would be an improved version of your current PlayBook tablet. This new tablet would have a screen of 10 inches, compared to the 7 inches that the PlayBook has, and a capacity of 129 GB.

The roadmap also shows the possible launch of a 4G BlackBerry PlayBook by the end of 2012, although it would only be available in the United States.

Before the arrival of the new tablet, two RIM smartphones would hit the market. Nothing is known about them except the names that can be seen in the image and that the model known as Nevada would have a physical keyboard, thus following the tradition of the company and warding off the rumors that the next BlackBerry smartphones will only have a keyboard virtual.
