The Fox network has reported that it is in the process of launching a Family Guy game for iOS and Android together with developer TinyCo. The cartoon series has grown exponentially in popularity in recent years and already has a veritable legion of fans who become potential buyers of the game.
The press release issued does not give many details about the game, but it seems that the mistake made with the game The Simpsons: tapped out, another of the legendary series of the American network, will not be repeated. This time the history of the series will be closely linked to that of the game and will be created in conjunction with the writers of the series themselves. That is, let's not expect that strange copy of the SIMS set in Springfield that we had with the game inspired by the drawings of Matt Groening.
The creators tell us that the game will be an adventure in which we will have to recruit and, sometimes, confront the different characters of the world of Family Guy. The development of the game will provide us with experiences that will constantly remind us that we are in the peculiar city of Quahog. Part of the game action will be the resource management.
For the English version the original voices of the series will be used, being the regular voice actors involved in the project. Hopefully it will be the same for the Spanish version.
The game will be posed as a free to play, that is, it will be free to download, but then we will have paid elements to enhance some skills or to advance faster in the story.
The game is expected to hit both platforms sometime in 2014, without being much more specific.
