Google Now is updated with resources for travel and song recognition

Google Now

Google Now has been updated again to improve even more. The application that we find on devices with 4.1 Android Jelly Bean It has the function of providing us with useful information directly related to our location, agenda, profile on Google+ and email. Now these informational resources improve especially in relation to travel.

Google Now

From now on, we can tell Google Now that we are going to take a trip and we will get information about the weather at our destination. If we are going to travel by plane, when we are in the vicinity it will take our boarding pass. This technology is not activated at the moment and when it does it will only work with American Airlines, but they are working to extend it to more airlines around the globe.

Once at our destination, it will give us information about what is happening there. He will make suggestions of the sites we can visit, schedules and the locations that we can enjoy and will recommend websites where to find more information on leisure and tourism of the site.

Even if it detects that we have entered a museum, it will give us information about it and even information about some of the works that are there through Google Goggles.

But the updates don't just come when it comes to travel. We will also have an improvement in terms of music. Now we can identify songs saying What song is it and it will recognize it like SoundHound or Shazam does. We may also ask you to scan a barcode or QR code with the appropriate voice command. And finally we can also ask you to post a status update on the company's social network telling you to post on Google+.

As we can see, there are improvements that make this service integrator tool even more useful. Unfortunately we can only use them if our device has the latest version of the Android operating system.
