How to permanently delete files on your Android tablet

We often store personal documents, potentially compromising photos, work-related files, and other sensitive information on our tablets. Programs like Hexomob Recovery allow us to easily and effectively recover deleted data from our devices. In this tutorial, we'll show you how to securely erase files so they cannot be recovered.

To do this, we'll use an app, available on the Play Store, called " Secure Erase Pro ." This app is paid (€0.79), but it's worth buying if you really have important data on your device that you want to delete. Once purchased and downloaded, the first thing you'll see is an icon in your tablet's app menu. Tap on it to run the program. The first thing you'll see is a warning with the steps to follow to delete these files.

Next we will see a file explorer where we can navigate to the location of the files that we want to delete safely. For this we only have to press on the folders that appear in said explorer.

Once we are in the folder that contains the files to delete, we click on the button on the right that has a double stick in black, which will turn green to start the selection of files.

Once we have selected the files that we want to delete safely, we click on the button that has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point and says "Secure deletion" and the following message will appear warning us that the files will be permanently deleted .

Once the deletion process is complete, the files will disappear, and it will be completely impossible to recover them. We can also use a standard deletion tool with recovery capabilities by clicking the button with a red X. A warning will also appear stating that the selected files will be deleted, but this time it doesn't specify that it will be "permanently," so there will be a possibility of recovering them.

Once files are safely deleted, we no longer have to worry that they can be recovered and fall into the wrong hands.
