On the other hand, the application is complemented by two social networks (Tik Tok and Instagram), showing the trips in our profiles and the routes we take, if we include them. We can share our trips with the people we want or, if we prefer, have them share with us.
What is TravelBoast used for?
La app is free, there is no daily cost for its use. You can start with the most basic, which consists of seeing, first, the initial guide. The tool is very visual, it has many graphics that will be useful for the routes in the city or the trip that we make.
The first thing the application asks us is what means we will use to carry out our trip, then we have to choose a specific route. If we go through certain areas, we can mark point by point. It is a very useful function if we travel from here to there, so we will get the most out of it in a short time.
The application is light, it consumes little RAM, and it doesn't take up much storage space either. Although at some point it presented certain failures, they have been solved over time.
We can soak up the application in as little as 5 to 10 minutes. It has more than 100 different modes of transportation. The routes that we establish can be imported in GPX format adapted for any locator. What we have is to record our route, send it to the application and thus we obtain a detailed map.

The trips we can publish in our Stories of Instagram and just as we see it in the application, as it is, it will be seen there. It is ideal if we want to repeat the trip, as long as we provide the guide. Once we upload the map, it is possible to share it and comment on it when publishing it.
To create a animated map on both Android and iOS we must apply the following steps.
How to use TravelBoast on Android
- Download and install the application on your mobile phone.
- It is important to drag lines, in case we need to make stops. You have to include breaks during the journey, because they will be measured in meters and kilometers.
- We will also have to choose the mode of transport, there are more than a hundred available, including: car, van or boat.
- We press on “Play” and immediately the video will be created to launch it to our Stories of Instagram.
- You have to control the speed, we can make it faster or slow it down so that it lasts longer.
- Next, we click on "Save" so that the map is displayed on our Instagram, that is where it will be published once we press the button. The synchronization will happen immediately with the service, everything will depend on us establishing the corresponding permissions so that everything works well.

- We open the store from our mobile AppStore, where we will download and install the application. It has an icon of a yellow airplane with a blue and white background.
- When we first open the app, it will guide us through a short tutorial.
- We press the "Start point" button located in the upper left part of the application.
- We choose a country, city or a specific address.
- Then, we click on "Destination" and enter the place where we will arrive. The application will mark both locations with a straight line, but it is modifiable, we can change its shape by dragging with our finger and thus mark the route it is.
It is also possible to change the icon of the car, in terms of model, add an effect or annotations. To return to the map, press the arrow in the upper left corner.
Once everything is ready, click on play that is at the bottom of the screen, so we can see how our interactive map is.
If we are satisfied with the video, we press "Save video in camera roll" and we will store it in our mobile. It is possible to pre-edit the video before saving it.
What is editable? The duration of the video, the adjustment of the size and modify the aspect. We have optional filters to see the countries where we travel and how many kilometers the route is. Once we have everything ready, we press the arrow icon to return to the map.
The video is saved with our photos/videos that we already have on our iPhone. If we want to share it on our social networks we must do the following:
- Open the “Photos” application.
- Tap the video you just saved.
- Then, you click on the "Share" icon at the top, and select the application where you want to share it.
