HP presented yesterday through a press release, which went almost completely unnoticed by all the hubbub of the Apple event, the prices and availabilities of its Windows 8 products. Among them are many laptops, some being touchscreens and a couple of tablets. Actually, there was mostly talk of HP ENVY x2 and some information was given of HP ElitePad 900.

HP is no longer the world's leading PC producer and Lenovo has recently come to its throne. This does not mean that the American company stops fighting and its Windows 8 product line is proof of this. We will only talk about tablets.

HP ENVY x2 is a hybrid tablet With Windows 8 very complete you can connect the additional QWERTY keyboard to function as a laptop. Will arrive in the United States on November 14th for a starting price of $849. Nobody said Windows 8 tablets were going to be cheap. The most notable characteristics are its weight and thickness: both only 680 grams y 8,5 mm of thickness. Otherwise, it follows the pattern of many tablets in the series with 11,6 inches from screen to 1366 x 768 pixels. If you want to know more about her, you can go to the article that we dedicate to her after her presentation at San Francisco a couple of months ago.

As for the HP ElitePad 900 It is a Windows 8 tablet of a different format than the previous one, 10 inches of screen, and with a higher endowment. It also has a large number of accessories. Among them we find cases, optical pencils, keyboards, supports, etc ... We also dedicated an article to it when it was presented to beginning of October where you can know more about its specifications. Unfortunately they have only indicated that they are kept on the launch date of January 2013 to give us their price. So we will have to wait a little longer.
