Since Google announced the new operating system 4.1 Android Jelly Bean We all go crazy thinking about what we would like to be able to enjoy the advantages it brings. Tablets have not yet officially arrived in Spain that allow it (except for the recent Motorola Xoom WiFi update), so we have to use shortcuts. The friends of Android Authority teach us a method to enjoy Google Music on our devices with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The base of this app has been leaked and is downloadable. Google Music lets you listen your music collection from anywhere since you have previously stored it on the Internet. This means being able to access your music from any type of device, be it mobile or your computer at home.

The filtered app, Google Music APK it has worked on a number of devices, although sadly on others it failed. To know if it will work in yours you have to try it. Android Authority gives us some warnings and some requirements so that we do it well and safely.

Requirements

  • Have a device with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • Have a file management application like ASTRO File Manager installed on your Android device.
  • Make one backup or backupof all your personal information (calendar, SMS, MMS, internet settings, WiFi passwords, everything you value) just in case this process affects your data. To know how to make a good backup:

  • Download Google Music APK (Google_Play_Music_4.3.605.392829.apk, 4.82 MB) to your computer.

Instructions

  1. Copy the file Google_Play_Music_4.3.605.392829.apk to your device's SD card.
  2. Ir a Settings- Security and activate the option Unknown sources in order to install APK files.
  3. Open your preferred file manager app and find the Google Play APK file of your SD card
  4. Select it and run it. Wait for the installation to finish.
  5. Once the installation is finished you can use Google Music on your Android 4.0 ICS device.

We recommend that you follow the instructions in this post if you really know what you are doing or if you are one of those who like to experiment. Although it is advisable to read carefully and look for auxiliary sources. If neither the steps nor the procedures are very clear to you, it is better to abstain.
