Since Samsung launched its 7-inch Galaxy Tab as a counterpart to the iPad in size, we have seen how many tablets of similar size have opted for smaller dimensions to highlight the comfort and portability of the tablets. Kindle Fire and Nexus 7 have only confirmed that Steve Jobs was not very successful when he claimed that the only size that offered a rewarding touch experience was the iPad. He waits iPad Mini will confirm such a mistake.

And it seems certain that we will see it. In fact, we have recently compiled a fair amount of the rumors about iPad Mini that are heard on the internet in an article. Prestigious publications such as the New York Times and The Wall Street Journal and news agencies such as Bloomberg and Reuters take his appearance for granted.
On the Gizmodo website they have made a digital reconstruction of what exactly this would look like iPad Mini and they also offer us a comparative with the key devices on the market: the Kindle Fire, Nexus 7 and the own iPad. We already had photos of a supposed mold manufacturing that one of Apple's manufacturers leaked for GottaBeMobile and that gave us a 7,85-inch screen as a size, having overall dimensions of 213,36 mm high by 143,67 wide.

The guys at Gizmodo have been based on the measurements indicated by the GottaBeMobile leak and have followed the design line of the iPad itself. This is the result.
In turn, they have made a very illustrative graph that compares these dimensions with that of the aforementioned tablets and concludes that the iPad Mini screen will be 40% wider than most 7-inch tablets. By superimposing this screen size with that of the others, it is very clear to us. Obviously it follows a relationship between width and height that the iPad itself has since its origins, being one of the most flattened tablets.

These details and many others are likely to be confirmed on the iPad Mini's launch date, which most experts point to will be September 12.
