IPod docks were the first accessories to follow Apple's products. With the arrival of the iPhone and iPad, we continue to see these devices that allowed us to listen to the music that we had stored in them. The biggest difficulty was buying a device that had a suitable connector, then the 30-pin one. Today those of the apple use a new connector in their latest generation of devices and we can tell you that the first docking station for iPad mini and iPad 4 connectorhave come from the hand of JBL, a company that has provided us with many accessories for the American brand's products.

Actually, they have released: two JBL OnBeat Micro models and JBL Venue LT. The first one only works for iPod and iPhone so here we will not deal with it, but you can get more information about it in our sister website AppleZona. However, the second has a lightning connector mount that easily seats both the iPad mini and iPad 4.

We are facing an elongated speaker of a medium size in the center of which we see the connector for the devices that will not only transmit music, but also serves as a charging point. This is not the only way we can connect the tablets since it has a port Bluetooth that will allow us to enjoy music and an application or navigate from another place within the signal range. The connection is accompanied by technology Harman TrueStream to ensure the quality of music streaming. We can also connect other non-Apple devices using USB and port 3,5 Jack mm. The big speaker has 30 watts of amplification not negligible.

We find two additional buttons at the top that activate two extra audio modes. One turn up the bass of music and the other is a movie mode which makes the sound more immersive.

Not for sale yet, but it will come at the beginning of december and we must expect a price around 150 Euros, since in the United States it is worth $ 199,95.
