The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus in video: another great 8-inch option

Although in recent times 10 inch tablets are gaining prominence, we still have very interesting options among the 8 inches and one of them, without a doubt, is the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, which also has the advantage that it is easily imported at an even more tempting price. We leave you a demonstration of its potential in video.

One of the best 8-inch tablets

It is not only that it is one of the best options that we have right now among compact tablets, but, in fact, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus is after the Mi Pad 3 one of the best 8-inch tablets of 2017, and it must be said that it even has some details that could give it an advantage over Xiaomi, such as the fingerprint reader or mounting a Qualcomm processor instead of a Mediatek.

And it is one of those compact tablets, of which we have less and less, that offer us the same technical specifications of the 10-inch star model: screen Full HD, Snapdragon 625, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of storage capacity. It also has in its favor that the version of Android that runs is nougat, which is not the last, but it is the most recent to which we can aspire in reality.

Taking into account that you don't see much in stores, however, it is interesting to have the opportunity to show it to you in a short video analysis that will allow you to get a better idea of what we can expect from it: not only does it make a good review of your design, but also leaves us your results in benchmarks, gives us video and audio samples and your performance with various games.

As you can see, the tablet of Lenovo passes all these tests without problems, highlighting especially in the section on audio (thanks to quality speakers and very well located, a detail of tablet design which, as we saw just yesterday, is worth paying attention to) and in that of autonomy. It has a few shortcomings, however, such as the lack of HDMI output, but there does not seem to be any important section where it disappoints.

Is it worth buying imported?

As we mentioned at the beginning, a curious situation that we have with this lenovo tablet is that it is quite easy to import, although normally it is with the name Lenovo Xiao Xin with the one sold in China. The advantage of this is that, even if it is still somewhat expensive compared to the Chinese low-costs that predominate on these websites, its price (we have seen it for up to under 250 euros) is still considerably lower than the one in Spain, which is 300 Euros in El Corte Inglés, although yes, for the LTE model.

If we are going to take advantage of the mobile connection, we may be interested in buying it here directly, then, and we save complications, but if it is about spending as little as possible, it is an interesting option to bet on imports, if we are not convinced by the Teclast T8, which is the other great 8-inch Chinese tablet of the moment.
