As part of your Tuesday software update known as Patch TuesdayMicrosoft has shipped various packages to some of its hardware and software products. These will also include security improvements for Windows RT, Windows 8, and Internet Explorer 10. When it comes to tablets, Microsoft has patched a number of things on the first tablet they released. Thus, Surface RT will see improved the reliability of your WiFi, device connectivity in various circumstances and better performance.

The other improvements for the device running Windows RT also have to do with accessing the Internet over wireless connections. Now the tablet will have support to connect with access points that have non-ASCII characters. The new patch will also help reduce the number of times the tablet experiences limited WiFi connectivity.
The update is already being able to be downloaded by US and European users since yesterday. In Spain, as you all know, we still do not have the opportunity to buy the tablet from the computer giant. All the bad data that they are pouring about the device, and that have resulted in modest sales, do not help anything by the time it hits the stores, which could be early 2013. However, it is also possible that by the time many of the initial problems that we have seen have been solved and we find a more attractive or, at least, reliable tablet. The price is clearly not helping and it is said that by the time it arrives Surface Pro we may see a price cut that will try to save the furniture. Microsoft's high-end tablet seems much more competitive in terms of performance and it will compete better in its range even if it is smaller. Just in case, it is said that Microsoft already works on three new models of your tablet that show they value this market.
