There's only one day left until the unveiling of the HTC All New One (or M8), and although we know quite a bit about the device, there are always details that remain hidden until its official announcement or even until the phone finally reaches users. Today we bring you a hands-on video that addresses some of the controversy surrounding the phone's camera that arose last week.
HTC's commitment to ultrapixel technology is one of the most uncertain aspects of its latest high-end devices. While it's true that the One's camera was capable of achieving extraordinary results, even better than the competition under certain circumstances, many potential buyers may have doubted its potential after reading the product specifications and seeing that it only has 4 MP.
Dual lens, 4 or 16 megapixels?
Throughout last week, several media outlets discussed the resolution of the new HTC One's camera. This video, however, confirms that the first lens will have 4 MP (ultrapixel) and the second 2 MP.

However, the combination of both lenses will apparently offer similar results in terms of resolution to a 16 MP camera , with the added benefit that HTC's technology has proven extremely effective in low light, which should result in a truly powerful tool for capturing images.
Refocus and filter in 3D
The first option, refocusing , isn't really a particularly spectacular innovation compared to other devices, since you can always use some retouching to sharpen one area and blur the rest; however, this option is directly integrated into the camera of the All New One.

Even more intriguing is the 3D filter . Just as in human vision (having two eyes allows us to perceive the depth of our surroundings), the two lenses on HTC's new device give photos a three-dimensional appearance.
