Neither HTC One+, nor One 2, nor M8—the commercial name of the Taiwanese company's new flagship will be, according to a tweet from @evleaks, The All New One . This name, unsurprisingly, has surprised the public and the specialized press, as it sounds more like a title than the actual product name.
If @evleaks is right (which happens quite frequently), HTC is going to break with the tradition of giving its new flagship phone an increasingly concise name . However, they haven't exactly racked their brains for an evocative description or even a clever term, instead sticking with the "One" concept , though this time emphasizing that it will be a completely new product.
The New All One, something new under the sun?
All that remains is to wait for the presentation of HTC's new flagship device (which will take place on March 25th in New York and London), because although the company promises a "completely new" product, the images that have surfaced so far are quite reminiscent of the 2013 model. While the dual camera has managed to attract our attention, everything else suggests an almost exact replica of the One.

If the terminal's screen remains Full HD and it uses a Snapdragon 800, HTC will have to pull some very peculiar design out of its hat to do justice to the new name.
Three colors: gray, silver and gold
Furthermore, @evleaks has indicated that the device will come in three colors , not four as previously thought. The variants will be the classic black and white (or silver and charcoal gray ), plus the "rarity" gold . Later on, the familiar red and blue tones of the HTC One might be added, though we assume that will be in a mid-cycle refresh of the device.
