The Nexus 7 is a device especially well-suited for those who want to get the most out of the games available on the Android system. We've selected five free games for you to take full advantage of its ergonomic design , high-resolution screen, and powerful Tegra 3 processor .
One of the strengths of Google's new tablet is its design optimized for gaming . Thanks to its size, the layout of its buttons and menus, and the unique blend of features typical of tablets and mobile phones, the Nexus 7 is a device perfectly suited for playing games almost as if it were a video game console. At least in terms of screen space, this is true, as the controls are positioned at a very similar height to when playing on, for example, the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.
Dead Trigger
We've already told you about this title . It's one of the most technically advanced games available for Android, and several of its features are only truly appreciated when playing on a powerful device like the Nexus 7, such as certain nuances in the zombies' movements or the water effects . Furthermore, it's a perfect game for mobile devices: the levels consist of short missions, but they manage to completely immerse you in the action. ( Download )

Temple Run
An adventure game in the vein of Indiana Jones or Uncharted, where you flee from lurking danger (monkeys chasing you) while overcoming all sorts of obstacles and collecting coins. As you progress, the difficulty increases, and your reflexes must sharpen. In a game like this, both graphical agility and the device's responsiveness to your commands are crucial, and the Nexus 7 proves itself up to the task. ( Download )
Blood & Glory
With a 4,7 rating on Google Play, it's an excellent choice if you enjoy gladiator stories , a genre even more popular now since the Spartacus series aired. Blood & Glory is the best way to test your Nexus 7 with a classic fighting game , like Tekken or Street Fighter, set in Roman times. Plus, if you have a strong stomach, there's a gore version for an even more intense experience. ( Download )
