OnePlus One will cost less than 350 euros in Europe

The OnePlus One is no ordinary phone. Its creators aim to set a new standard in mobile telephony, and they plan to do so not only through design and impressive specifications, but also, surprisingly, through price. The company itself has indicated that its price will be below €350 in Europe.

Through the company's Google + account, the words of its CEO Pete Lau have been collected, who ensured that this price responds to the interest shown in Europe for the device.

The truth is, this expectation isn't unfounded, given that they set a very high bar from the outset. Their goal was nothing less than to make the best mobile phone on the market. The backgrounds of those involved in the project mean we shouldn't dismiss this as mere bravado. Pete Lau and his partners mostly come from Oppo, a brand that makes some of the best devices in the world. Furthermore, Oppo will be handling the manufacturing of this promising phablet, so we can expect a high-quality finish.

On the other hand, it will be the first device to come with CyanogenMod pre-installed . In fact, it will feature the latest version, CM 11 , which has already been seen in some screenshots.

The specifications revealed so far are quite interesting. It's known that it will have a 5,5-inch Full HD screen , a quad-core Qualcomm processor (presumably the Snapdragon 801 ), and 2 GB of RAM . It will also feature a 13 MP rear camera and a 3.500 mAh battery.

The company dared to claim it would outperform the new HTC One M8 and sought to demonstrate this by publishing this suggestive graphic . It was then that we got our first glimpse of its price, which will be around $400 in the American market.

The exact figures will arrive when it is presented on April 23.
