Just a week ago we told you that Pokémon Shuffle, a title originally from Nintendo 3DS, reached the official app stores for iOS and Android devices. A puzzle game that serves as an appetizer for what is to come, which is nothing more than the launch of a series of games that the Japanese company is developing especially for these platforms. Today they have published a spectacular Pokémon Go trailer, the first of a total of five that will arrive before March 2017 to be announced, which immerses us in the extraordinary world of Pokémon using augmented reality.
One of the most anticipated projects of Nintendo. The company, an icon in the video game industry, had previously flirted with the possibility of entering the mobile / tablet game development, but it was not until this year that they confirmed that it would come true. With Hideki Konno, producer of the Mario Kart saga, at the helm, the objective set is to launch five titles "Original and optimized for mobile devices" in a period of just over a year. Although starting with a Pokémon game cannot be considered original, the idea of Pokémon Go is, and surely it is very much to the liking of fans.
Fulfill your dream of becoming a Pokémon trainer
Anyone who has played Pokémon as a child has fantasized about being the chosen one who leaves home to become the best trainer in the world. However, the only thing that identified us with character was the name we chose at the beginning. Pokémon Go not only allows us to take control but also makes us the protagonist and anywhere on the planet, on the stage of history. Making use of augmented reality, the screen of our mobile devices will serve as a window to this world full of fantastic creatures.
The trailer that we leave you below shows how Pokémon will appear in the streets or parks that we usually frequent and how we can capture them and then exchange them with our friends, with whom we can also put the power of our team to the test in epics battles and collaborate on missions that apparently could be located at a specific time and place.
Free-to-play and wearable model
Behind the development of Pokémon GO is Niantic, authors of Ingress, who collaborate with The Pokémon Company and Nintendo. Junichi Masuda, director of the video game series that popularized this universe, is also involved, ensuring that his essence will be preserved. Will be available in 2016, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the launch of Pokémon red and green for the Game Boy, the first in the series.

Its download will be free, but of course, Nintendo needs to earn money and for this they have applied the free-to-play model, which means that there will be in-app purchases. Also they will come a wearable (you have the image above) that connected to the mobile device will expand the gaming experience, notifying events like the appearance of a wild Pokémon.
