Yesterday a really good game arrived on the Google application and content store, Google Play. Rayman Jungle Run is now available for Android smartphones and tablets. Again, it arrives more than a week late compared to iOS, where it is having overwhelming success and a very high valuation, and it is no wonder.
Rayman Jungle Run it's a simple platform game which is very reminiscent of Rayman Origins, another great success in the Rayman saga. In fact, it uses the same UbiArt graphics engine. It is a game called auto runner, that is, the protagonist advances on the screen from left to right automatically and we can only change his trajectory with jumps, acrobatics and actions.
Hay 40 Niveles where to put into practice all of Rayman's movements until reaching the goal. Jump, float with your helicopter hair, run along the walls, punch and kick until you exceed your level. The key to getting the maximum score is to get 100 lumis that is on each screen and, I assure you, it is really difficult, especially as you progress through levels, since the difficulty increases.
With the score you can unlock new stages and some other element. For example, if you do a perfect race you will get a gem tooth and if you join five, you unlock a new race from the calls of The World of the Not So Dead. In these races you should not worry about the lumis because there are none, but about the time you spend in a ranking. You can also unlock new skills.
Su handling is really simple and smart. It is perfectly adapted to touch screens and responds faithfully and with speed, that is, the controls are very responsive.
The graphics are delicious, they convey speed and fluidity, something in which the framing has a lot to do. The music is fine, but it can be a bit repetitive if you are playing for more than an hour, something that can happen easily.
In short, it is a great game, one of the best platforms so far and has a more than reasonable price, 2,39 Euros.
