The American company Skytex will launch two models of tablets with Android operating system this summer. With them, the range of tablets that have Google's operating system installed is further expanded, something that offers users a wide range when choosing the most suitable tablet for their tastes and needs.
In this article we present the two new tablets that Skytex, a US company specializing in the manufacture of tablets, will launch this summer to the market to compete directly with the rest of the brands that have Android as an operating system.
Skypad Protos
The largest model presented by Skytex is the skypadprotos, a tablet with a capacitive IPS screen of 9.7 inches, operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB capacity, expandable with microSD cards up to 32 GB. As a processor, it uses an ARM Cortex A8 at 1.2 GHz. It incorporates a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. It allows connections through WiFi 802.11 and Bluetooth 2.0.

Gemini Skypad
The second model of Skytex tablets that we present in this article is the Gemini Skypad. It has a capacitive LCD screen 7 inch and operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Like the Protox it has a 8GB capacity expandable with microSD cards up to 32 GB. The processor is also a 8 GHz ARM Cortex A1.2 and has 1 GB of RAM. It has a 2 megapixel front camera and Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity.
Skytex has not yet released the final prices that these two tablets will have, but it is known that they will be quite competitive and will have a lower price than the best-known models that have Android as an operating system. The Gemini Skypad, which will be the cheaper of the two, will go on the market with a price of around 150 euros.
