In a couple of days, the day September 19 the new version of Apple's mobile operating system, iOS 6, it will be available to update our iPads (in addition to iPhones and iPods, of course). Get ready to make the update as simple and efficient as possible. 5 simple steps.

1. Once you have finished the update to iOS 6, the system will automatically allow you to reload all the applications that you already had installed on the device, but the process can be really tedious, so the best way to speed it up is to take the update as a reminder for "cleaning" y get rid of all the apps you have stopped using.
2. To ensure that the transfer of applications and content is done correctly it is imperative that you review the restrictions, because you can have some activated that prevents it. To remove any restriction that you have activated you just need to go to Settings-> General -> Restrictions.
3. It is highly unlikely that you will run into any complications, but you can never be completely sure that the update process will not fail. For this reason, it is highly recommended before starting the update make a backup, which can be very useful on other occasions. You can easily do it from iTunes.
4. To update iOS 6 and be able to use it once you have it installed, you will also need to have the latest version of iTunes, which right now is the 10.7. You can update it simply by selecting the option to check for updates in iTunes or by downloading it directly from the Apple website.
5. Finally, in order to make the update effective you will need your apple id, both username and password, so the most comfortable thing is to make sure you have it before starting the process. On the Apple website you can recover your username or password if you have lost it or have trouble remembering it.
