Graphic adventures are one of the most popular genres among tablet games , and Telltale has built a legion of fans with its own, so we're sure many will be happy to discover that three of its most popular series, Batman, The Walking Dead, and The Wolf Among Us , will have at least one more season.
The second season of Batman will be the first to arrive
The first thing we'll be able to enjoy is the second season of Batman , which, as usual, will consist of five episodes, the first of which will debut on August 8th , in just over two weeks. It seems the success of the first season has made it easier for the story to continue, and fortunately, we'll only have to wait a few months from the release of the last episode to continue experiencing the development of Bruce Wayne's story.
We've even been given some hints about the beginning of the story, in which the Riddler will play a leading role, although we've already been told that the major crisis looming in Gotham will be the work of Batman 's true rival , the Joker . And, of course, being a Telltale game , we'll have a lot of say regarding who our allies will be and how far we'll let Wayne go in his fight to protect the city.
The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, will make you wait a little longer
Although the new Batman game will be their next big release, Telltale is working to continue two of their most iconic series. First, the series that made them famous, which last year continued with a third season and a spin-off starring Michonne, is confirmed to have a fourth season, though it won't arrive until next year.
Although The Walking Dead is Telltale's crown jewel, we have to say that we found the announcement of a second season for The Wolf Among Us even more exciting . This series is almost as iconic as the zombie show and is one of our favorites, and for some reason, since its release a few years ago (in 2014), there hadn't been any indication that it would continue. We'll have to wait until next year, but it's good to know it has a future.
Other interesting recent announcements
This week we've had other exciting announcements regarding upcoming iOS and Android game releases , some quite soon, including Shadow Fight 3, RuneScape Mobile, and Super Phantom Cat . And speaking of graphic adventures , we can't forget to remind you that if you don't want to wait, the latest from Telltale , the second season of their popular Minecraft Story Mode , is now available on both the App Store and Google Play.
