For a couple of days we can find the game The Adventures of Tintin Reduced in the iTunes App Store. Gameloft has decided to lower its price that was close to 4 euros to bring it to a much more affordable price below 1 euro. The game came out last year as official movie game animation made by Steven Spielberg with impressive 3D effects. On many occasions we have found official movie games that left much to be desired, but this is not the case with The Adventures of Tintin.
The game almost closely follows the plot of the film. It begins when Tintin and his dog Snowy discover a model of a ship that is the epicenter of a great mystery. From that moment you will have to solve the mystery by managing Tintin himself, Snowy or Captain Haddock.
The plot is divided into chapters. These are a minigame series that simply go from one to another. To explain the history and what is expected of us in each phase, Gameloft has prepared small video sequences and presentations in comic strips really cared for. They are pieces that demonstrate the good general invoice of the video game.
One of the strong points of the game is that when playing it, one does not feel lost in the handling, even if we change the types of scenarios and mechanics, and that is controls are intuitive and easy to learn. The controls for the iPad are precise and very well tailored.
In the game we can make use of several skills, which correspond to the game modes: adventure, action, puzzle and exploration. For these last two skills, there is a cross-game task which is to find puzzle pieces. Some you will find at first glance, but with others you will have to struggle.
The graphics of the game in third person are wonderful, as well as the sound, forming a final result that gets us into the game, rich in color and that delves into comfort.
The Adventures of Tintin is a game for the whole family, without this making it too childish and, at this discounted price, it can be a great buy if you don't already have it.
