The Galaxy Tab 3 Plus would have a Full HD Super AMOLED screen

Although it seems we'll have to wait quite a while longer to see the new generation of Galaxy Tabs , in recent days we've at least learned a bit more about their features . The latest news concerns the model with the best technical specifications , which would be the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus , and more specifically, its screen: according to a leak, it could feature a Full HD Super AMOLED panel.

A few weeks ago, we mentioned that Samsung seemed poised to expand the use of AMOLED screens by bringing them back to tablets, devices in which they hadn't been used since the Galaxy Tab 7.7 . As we said then, this type of screen has always received some criticism for oversaturating colors, but the truth is that with the new panel in the Galaxy S4 , praised by many experts, the South Koreans have finally been able to demonstrate that they were capable of resolving these issues.

While we don't know if any of the other models will ultimately incorporate it, according to SamMobile , the tablet with the best technical specifications of the future trio that will make up the Galaxy Tab range —the Tab 3 Plus— seems quite certain to do so . According to sources within the company, Samsung is working hard to unveil the new tablet with a Super AMOLED screen and Full HD resolution at IFA in Berlin (where, interestingly, the Galaxy Note III is also expected to be presented , this time without an AMOLED screen ).

The leak also leaves the door open for another small surprise regarding this device, which could be larger than expected. While there had been some doubt about the size of the compact tablet (whether it would be 7 or 8 inches), it seemed certain that the other two would have 10.1 inches . However, according to this leak, the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus could have an 11.6-inch screen , although this is not yet confirmed.
