The HTC M8, exposed. We collect and analyze all your images

HTC One 2

In recent days, leaks surrounding HTC have exploded, and we've been able to see the M8 from every angle . Yesterday, however, was a particularly prolific day, as we received not only photos of the device but also renders recreating press images and even a design that combined the Taiwanese company's next flagship with its predecessor. We've compiled and analyzed all the leaks surrounding the highly anticipated HTC One 2.

The technical specifications of the HTC M8 remain a mystery, as we don't know if the Taiwanese company will go all out with a QHD screen and a Snapdragon 805 processor , or stick with Full HD and a Snapdragon 800. Otherwise, regarding the phone's finish, and aside from a few minor details to be resolved, we can get a pretty clear idea of one of HTC's strengths in its flagship: design.

On the front the screen gains ground

Although the different images we have received still show some inconsistencies between them, it seems that HTC will continue with the trend (common in most manufacturers) of trying to fit the largest possible screen into a casing as compact as the previous generation.

Even so, some images show a variation from what was expected: a black band below the touch panel displaying the HTC logo . This would certainly be a decorative element, with no functional relevance, and would reduce the screen space.

However, if there's one non-negotiable element in the Taiwanese company's design, even after their split with Beats Audio, it's the speakers on the front of the phone. There's no doubt about that.

HTC One vs. HTC M8

Last night a couple of renderings of the HTC One 2 also began to circulate, here you have them:

The second image is particularly interesting, showing the HTC M8 alongside its predecessor . Comparing them, we can appreciate the even more elongated design of the new model (the HTC One wasn't exactly long either).

Rear deck, aluminum rules

The terminal casing retains its previous shapes and materials, although this time we will have two cameras instead of just one.

As we mentioned a couple of days ago , the dual lens can be an alternative to the optical stabilization system used by other manufacturers, and its function would be to achieve better results when taking pictures in low light.
