Acer Iconia Tab A110 will have Jelly Bean and cost $ 200 or less

Competition for Nexus 7 does not stop growing. In addition to its great rival, the Kindle Fire HD, other 7-inch tablets with Jelly Bean very interesting. The latest addition comes from the hand of Acer, which has confirmed that its new tablet, the Acer Iconia A110 It will come out with the latest version of Android.

The tablet Iconia Tab A110 had already made its appearance in the Computex of this month of June, and although we already knew its characteristics since then, Acer has revealed an important detail that had not been announced at that time: the tablet will have Android 4.1 operating system. The new tablet, therefore, would be one of the first to come standard with Jelly Bean, as most higher-end tablets do not even have it. Given the important advances that Jelly Bean has made with respect to Ice Cream Sandwich, especially in responsiveness, this is an important asset, definitely.

Apart from the surprise regarding the operating system, the technical specifications confirm what we already knew about the tablet. It will have a 7 '' screen with a 1024 x 600 resolution and will have a NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor quad-core. It will be a fairly lightweight device, with less than 400 grams weight, and will have outputs for micro-USB y micro-HDMI and to micro-SD cards. Like the other tablets of this size and similar characteristics, it has only one 2MP front camera.

If we compare it with the Google tablet, the Acer Iconia Tab A110 would clearly lose in screen resolution, but the processor is the same, and has the advantage of having an HDMI port and, above all, with the possibility of increasing the storage capacity. The key to its success, therefore, will be largely in the price that, according to Android Police, it would be located under $ 200, although there is still no official confirmation in this regard.
