Although Rules of Survival remains the benchmark title on Google Play lately when it comes to action games, we have a few new free Android games worth checking out, with a prominent role in our top 5 , of course, for Captain Tsubasa Dream Team , the game that brings the Oliver and Benji series to our tablets and smartphones.
Captain Tsubasa Dream Team
Although the fact that it comes with Japanese names may have confused some, many have quickly tried the game inspired by the comics that also inspired the popular anime series Oliver and Benji , with all the usual options to form our dream team and play matches against other users, and with the added attraction of also giving us a story mode to unleash nostalgia.
faraway 2
Despite the fact that the star of this week is the Captain Tsubasa game, Faraway 2 is currently proving to be more popular , although this isn't too surprising, given its success on the App Store and the well-known appeal of escape room puzzle games . It's another opportunity for fans of the genre to showcase their ingenuity, with more exotic settings than usual.
Classic Sudoku
With so many puzzle games available on Google Play, it's somewhat surprising that a new version of the classic Sudoku is enjoying such success, and it certainly deserves a mention. If you've ever been hooked on these number puzzles but haven't yet tried a mobile version, this could be your chance.
Top Cars Drift Racing
We've also seen several new racing games on Google Play this week, but Top Cars Drift Racing seems to be the one generating the most buzz, rewarding a driving style where drifting is the main focus. The graphics and physics are quite good, with fairly simple controls and the option to enjoy it solo in a career mode.
Mayhem
For those looking for action games , but who are a bit tired of battle royale shooters, or for those who lean more towards strategy, one of the most interesting alternatives we've come across lately is Mayhem , with MOBA-style PvP battles, a wide variety of maps, game modes, and different abilities for the mercenaries who will make up our squad.

We'll continue our review of the best free games of 2017 in the coming weeks, but as you can see, it seems we still have a few interesting releases to discover before the year ends, so keep an eye on our Android games section.
