Twitter Music made its first official appearance yesterday but only as a web address. If yesterday it gave us an error when we put it in our browser, today we get a screen that tells us that it will arrive soon and lets us make a Sign in that does not generate any changes afterwards. However, developers have immersed themselves in the code on the page and have been able to discover links to services such as Rdio, iTunes, Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube or VeVo.
This new Twitter service will follow in the footsteps of the newly acquired We Are Hunted, a company that provides a music recommendation service through its app on Android. The service is being terminated as well as all accounts after they announced the day before yesterday that they were joining the 140-character social network.
If that service was focused on discovering new musics and independent talents around the world, now it seems that the search criteria will be closer to commercial positions. A good example of this is that American Idol host Ryan Seacrest was among the first to test the app. His impressions were positive, although I honestly do not believe that we should trust his judgment.

Yesterday the events were rushing and it seemed that the new service would arrive that afternoon. However, it seems that we will have to wait a few days to see it definitely open.
At the moment, and being the only related option, when we do the Sign In in music.twitter.com It asks us for permission to integrate the service with our account on the social network, giving it the power to see all our contacts, analyze our tweets and publish on our behalf. Once we do, it returns us to the main page.
We understand that it will function as a web service, but that it will have applications for Android and iOS and that its integration with other music and video playback services will allow us to enjoy the recommendations from our smartphone or tablet.
We'll be alert.
