Vodafone launches its Smart Tab II

Vodafone

One of the most difficult qualities to find among the lowest priced tablets is the 3G connection. Vodafone renews its offer in tablets with this feature as the main attraction, as expected. Next week the new ones will be available Smart Tab II de 7 and 10 inches.

Smart Tab II

Following the success of the previous generation, Vodafone will launch next week the new Smart Tab II, which will have two models, one of 7 inches and another 10. Both will be manufactured by the company Lenovo, will work with Ice Cream Sandwich and of course they will have 3G connectivity as well as their Wi-Fi. Some features, however, will differ from one model to another, so the choice is not simply a matter of screen size, or price. As is the norm in the tablet market, the 10-inch tablet has more powerful technical specifications: it will incorporate a processor Qualcomm Dual Core 1,5Ghz,16 GB of storage space, and a battery with an autonomy of 10h, in addition to GPS, Bluetooth, HDMI connection and 5MP camera. Vodafone has decided to bet on the hybrid format for this model, including a keyboard that can be docked and undocked to the tablet.

Prices compared to the previous generation have improved significantly and, if the first 7-inch Smart Tab could be purchased among prepaid customers for 269 euros, its successor will be available in this way from 199 Euros, with 1 GB of additional data to consume in 3 months. For contract customers, the smaller of the two tablets will be obtained for 15 euros per month with the 1GB Tablet Internet Rate included, and the higher for 22 euros per month with the same rate. You can find them in Vodafone stores from next week.
